ActewAGL recognises that many of the effects of climate change threaten to compromise the environment for future generations. The electricity and natural gas industry is a significant contributor to greenhouse gas emissions and ActewAGL, as a distributor and retailer of these products, has a responsibility to reduce its environmental footprint wherever possible.

Consistent with its company values, ActewAGL is accountable for all its own actions relating to protecting the environment. This includes actively working on environmental initiatives to help Canberra and the region power ahead into the future.
