Letter: Reject Towne Realty for port building project

The recent letter, “Developer vying for port contract cited in ’81 condo collapse,” citing Towne Realty as the designer of the Harbour Cay condo disaster in Cocoa Beach, is spot on.

This company has a history of shoddy work, and how it slunk back into Brevard under the same name and is now being considered as a building contractor at Port Canaveral, I can only guess.

I, for one, will protest loud and clear any time this poor excuse for a builder gets anywhere near Brevard County, and I hope others will join me. In doing so, I hope it will help my friend, Mike Cresse, who was killed in the condo collapse, along with others.
