Britney Spears narrowly avoids a major wardrobe malfunction -- VIDEO

The opening of Britney Spears’ residency Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas went off without a hitch. The second night, the pop star narrowly avoided what could have been a major wardrobe malfunction.

A video posted on Instagram shows the moment when Spears’ costume — one of 7 she wears throughout the 90-minute show — pops open as she performs the song “Circus,” revealing her bare back and threatening to expose her front. Luckily, two quick-thinking back-up dancers jump into action and manage to get Britney — who keeps on dancing — zipped back into her corset.

Report: Designer Diane von Furstenberg is getting her own reality show

Is designer Diane von Furstenberg filming a reality show?

Earlier this week, rumors began circulating that the designer — whose effortlessly chic pieces are worn by actresses like Reese Witherspoon, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Allison Williams — is currently in pre-production on a “transformational docu-series for the millennial fashionista.”

A casting notice posted by VPE TV calls for “smart, savvy, and sophisticated people with a great sense of style” who “appear to be [ages] 20 to 25.”

Fashionista.com reports that the fashion reality competition series is being produced by Electus — the company behind Fashion Star and Mob Wives – and will air on a major cable network. Filming begins spring 2014 and contestants will be trained and compensated as brand ambassadors. READ FULL STORY

Hollywood for Sale: Gilt's 'Secret Life of Walter Mitty' sale

A day-dreamer embarks on an epic real-life journey in The Secret Life of Walter Mitty (in theaters Christmas Day), starring and directed by Ben Stiller.

To help promote the big screen adaptation of James Thurber’s short story, online luxury retailer Gilt is hosting an exclusive sale featuring authentic props and screen worn wardrobe pieces, signed movie posters, and home decor items inspired by the film’s production design.

A portion of the proceeds from the props will benefit The Stiller Foundation, which promotes children’s education initiatives.
