'Pretty Little Liars' react: Rest in peace, Jane Doe

Welcome back to Rosewood, the town where answers only create more questions and Mona is as creepy as ever! Season 4B kicked off with a surprisingly brilliant Hanna, a not-so-surprisingly brilliant Spencer, an angry Emily, and a fairly calm Aria. Let’s get to it! READ FULL STORY

'My Little Pony Friendship is Magic': Rarity takes Manehattan -- EXCLUSIVE

My Little Pony meets Project Runway in this week’s episode, which finds poised unicorn Rarity traveling to the big city: Manehattan, the seat of Equestria’s high society. She’s come to show her collection at a big fashion show. Unfortunately, soon after arriving, poor Rarity finds herself clashing with a mean-spirited fellow designer named Prim Hemline — a devil in Pony-rada. (Or maybe Diane von Hoofstenberg? Calvin Rein? Dolc-neigh and Gabbana?)

An attempt at translating this adorable kid's cover of 'Let It Go' from 'Frozen' -- VIDEO

Watch out, Idina Menzel: Four-year-old aspiring Disney princess Ella has your number.

Well, sort of. Ella’s interpretation of Frozen‘s most memorable song is high on cuteness… and low on intelligible words. But who needs diction when you’ve got passion?

Check out Ella’s “Let It Go” cover below — and look under that to find our best attempt at deciphering what, exactly, she’s trying to say. (For reference, the song’s actual lyrics can be found here.)

'My Little Pony Friendship Is Magic' clip: Careful, Fluttershy! -- EXCLUSIVE

The Mane Six’s stockings were hung by the chimney with care during Wednesday’s special Friendship Is Magic-themed Yule Log presentation – but the next episode of My Little Pony trades holiday cheer for spirits of another kind.

Specifically: Vampires! More specifically: Vampire fruitbats! And they’re taking over Applejack’s orchard, causing tension between the down-home pony — who’s prepared to do whatever it takes to protect her crop — and her pal Fluttershy, who can’t bear the thought of hurting any creature great or small. The ponies will also have to cope with an orchard that’s much spookier than usual — and shiny red apples that look almost too good to be true…

Get some post-holiday chills by checking out an exclusive clip from the episode below.

'My Little Pony Friendship Is Magic': See the Mane 6 as comic book heroes -- VIDEO

Poor Spike the Dragon — always the sidekick, never the hero.

Spike’s luck could change, however, in “Power Ponies,” the next episode of My Little Pony Friendship Is Magic. In the show’s latest installment, Spike and his pony pals are transported into the city of Maretropolis — the place Spike’s favorite comic book is set. Though he’s initially relegated to sidekick status, everything changes when the Mane 6 meet a pony super villain — and it’s up to Spike to save the day.

First, though, Spike will have to contend with a world that seems set on keeping him on the sidelines: Example: Spike sniffs to Twilight Sparkle that the comic book character Humdrum “never stops the villain. He’s just there for comic relief.” And… well, FIM is meta enough that you can guess what happens next.

'Degrassi' trailer: Scandal! Betrayal! Revenge! -- EXCLUSIVE VIDEO

degrassi-trailer.jpg

(And other nouns that don’t double as ABC dramas!)

Love. Heartbreak. Drinking. Eyeliner. Secrets. More secrets. Sexting. More sexting. Abuse. Hand-holding. Bras worn on top of a T-shirt.

All have a place in the next round of Degrassi episodes, which debut on TeenNick this January. Want more specifics? Here’s the network’s official description: “This winter on Degrassi, relationships are put to the test. Clare and Eli continue to go the distance after his infidelity nearly tore them apart, but what’s next for Clare and Drew after their kiss? When Leo is faced with deportation, Alli hatches a plan to keep her epic romance alive. And Maya reconnects with her old friend, Zig, but Miles doesn’t trust him.” Which makes sense — remember how Zig nursed feelings for Maya even though he had a girlfriend, then kinda-sorta helped to trigger Cam’s suicide? (This show, guys.)

'How to Train Your Dragon 2' trailer: Vikings, dragons, and one mother of a secret -- VIDEO

how-to-train-your-dragon-2.jpg

Hello again, Hiccup and Toothless!

How to Train Your Dragon 2 begins five years after that dynamic duo first formed a bond that would change the island of Berk forever. (As Hiccup explains in the movie’s new trailer, “Dragons used to be a bit of a problem. But now they’ve all moved in.”) Before, Hiccup and his Viking buddies were limited to exploring land and sea; now they’ve gained access to the air as well, which means the sequel gets to feature even more beautifully animated soaring and swooping than the original.

It also means the introduction of new lands and characters — like Valka, a mysterious dragon rescuer voiced by Cate Blanchett who doubles as a figure from Hiccup’s past. (Who is she? Yeah, the trailer totally spoils the answer.)

Want more flight, fireballs, and touching acts of friendship? Simply feast your eyes on the preview below.

New Disney Channel movie 'Cloud 9' hits the slopes in the world of competitive snowboarding

Disney Channel is welcoming in the winter months with the new original movie Cloud 9,  starring Dove Cameron (Liv and Maddie) and Luke Benward (Ravenswood) and executive produced by Disney alum Ashley Tisdale. EW talked with the stars and Tisdale about the  film and how they hope it will reach Disney Channel fans of all ages.

Cloud 9 follows two unlikely friends, Kayla Morgan (Cameron), a prima donna snowboarder who was just dropped from her competition team, and Will Cloud (Benward), a former snowboarding champion who is struggling after a career-ending wipeout. The two meet when Kayla is forced to work at the local dog grooming shop owned by Will’s mother. Determined to become a better boarder, Kayla finds an unexpected mentor in Will, who she realizes can help take her to the next level.  So in exchange for help fixing up the dog grooming shop, Will reluctantly accepts Kayla’s pleas to train her and introduces her to a regimen that tests her true commitment to the sport.  As the two grow closer, Kayla’s efforts convince Will that he, too, has the power to regain his championship status.

“Something I really love about this film is that it’s not Kayla’s story and it’s not Will’s story. It’s about their journey together,” Cameron told EW. “She learns that she was missing a lot more in her life than she thought when she meets Will Cloud. It’s a story about a girl who wants a man to stand beside her as she saves herself.” Cameron is a relatively new member of the Disney family, though she has already cemented her place as the new Queen Mouseketeer. She does double duty playing both title characters (a la Lindsay Lohan) in the Disney Channel sitcom Liv and Maddie and will play Maleficent’s daughter in the upcoming Descendants“I’m so incredibly over-the-moon excited to finally be able to talk about it!”

Hub Network to preempt Christmas morning programs for 'My Little Pony'-themed Yule Log

Congratulations, animated flame enthusiasts: The Hub is granting your dearest Christmas wish.

The network announced today that it plans to preempt all regular programming on the morning of Dec. 25 in order to feature its very own Yule Log. And not just any burning branch — one that’s My Little Pony Friendship Is Magic-themed. (Note the background — we’re at Pinkie Pie’s house! — and the stockings hung on the mantle with care, each of which is decorated with one of the Mane Six’s cutie marks.)

An official release (yes, of course this event is important enough to justify its own press release; why do you ask?) notes that the log will come complete with “songs of the season” playing in the background, as well as cameo appearances by “animated characters from a variety of Hub Network shows.” So wait — are we going to see some Decepticons try to steal Christmas, or what?

The MLPFIM Yule Log first appears at 6 a.m. ET on Wednesday, Dec. 25 and will keep burning bright through 10 a.m. ET. And if you miss out on all four hours of programming, don’t worry — a Brony somewhere will certainly be watching and editing together all the relevant pony bits.

How do the headliners of Jessie, Dog with a Blog, Austin & Ally and more celebrate the holiday season? Simple: By dressing up their pets in festive outfits. (Even if the only pet in the house happens to be a goldfish.)

See how some of Disney Channel’s best-loved stars plan to adorn their dogs, cats, guinea pigs — and, yes, fish — in this exclusive clip, featuring Morgan Tompkins and Maddy Whitby from Radio Disney’s Morgan & Maddy in the Morning. Maybe they’ll inspire a Christmas-themed original dog movie called Bark the Halls for next year!
