They receive free newsletters, Voter’s Self Defense Manuals and updates of our progress and the behavior of their representatives. Learn more about what it means to be a Vote Smart Member.

Intern or Volunteer

Over 8000 students and members have interned or volunteered at our Vote Smart offices, some returning again and again to enjoy this extraordinary opportunity with extraordinary people. Student interns work for 10 weeks and usually receive credits toward graduation at their college or university while member volunteers put in 2 weeks at our beautiful Great Divide Ranch research facility in the Montana Rockies.
