St. Vincent Announces Self-Titled Album, Shares

As was previously hinted by the preview of new music hosted on her website, Annie Clark has announced her new St. Vincent album. The follow up to 2011's Strange Mercy and last year's collaborative album with David Byrne is self-titled and it's out February 24 in the UK and February 25 in the U.S. via new label Loma Vista

Below, check out the tracklist and new song "Birth in Reverse". It begins with the line, "Oh what an ordinary day / Take out the garbage, masturbate." It's available to stream as well as downloadable in exchange for an email address.

The album was produced by John Congleton and features Dap-Kings drummer Homer Steinweiss and Midlake's McKenzie Smith on percussion. "I knew the groove needed to be paramount," Annie Clark said in a press release. "I wanted to make a party record you could play at a funeral."
