M83 to Collaborate With Le Balcon for Special Performance at Pitchfork Music Festival Paris

Pitchfork Music Festival Paris begins in two days! Now, we're pleased to announce a special addition to the event, which takes place November 1-3 at Grande Halle de la Villette. On Thursday night, M83 will perform for the first time in collaboration with Le Balcon, a massive contemporary theatrical collective. Founded in November 2008, Le Balcon gathers singers, about 30 instrumentalists, composers, sound engineers, video directors and choreographers.

The Walkmen Announce Tour With Father John Misty

The Walkmen will continue touring in support of their 2012 record Heaven next year, taking ex-Fleet Foxes drummer Father John Misty along for a January trek through North America. Misty released his own Fear Fun LP this spring.

We hope to see you there, at Grande Halle de la Villette, November 1-3, for performances by like Animal Collective, Grizzly Bear, M83, Jessie Ware, Fuck Buttons, Liars, Japandroids, Rustie, James Blake, Chromatics, Purity Ring, and many, many more. Individual day tickets are still on sale, as are a limited amount of two-day passes for November 1 and 2 (tickets here), and a limited amount of two-day passes for November 2 and 3 (tickets here).

M83 have shared the video for "Steve McQueen" off Hurry Up, We're Dreaming. The piece, directed by Balthazar Auxietre and Sylvain Derosne, conjures an abstract sense of childlike exploration, depicting a boy in a yellow suit, science and engineering experiments, and a pack of roaming animal figurines.
