Bianconeri duo Conte and Baroni named best Italian coaches of their respective categories at last night’s awards ceremony in Montecatini Terme
Juventus scooped an impressive double at last night’s Trofeo Maestrelli awards ceremony in Montecatini Terme.
Receiving the prestigious honour for the best Italian manager of the 2011/12 season was Antonio Conte, while Primavera coach Marco Baroni saw his efforts rewarded with the youth category equivalent.
Republic of Ireland manager Giovanni Trapattoni, who enjoyed two spells in the Juventus dugout throughout his distinguished career, picked up the award for best European coach.
The Trofeo Maestrelli has previously been won by the likes of Carlo Ancelotti, Fabio Capello, Marcello Lippi, Sir Alex Ferguson and Jose Mourinho.
