    Yet what looks to our modern eyes like Schneider's frank homoeroticism was hardly framed as such in his own day. Rather, his work was taken as the literal embodiment of a virile masculinity and thus as an entirely orthodox framing of the male body's purview. This first US exhibition examines not only Schneider’s art, but also the strange cultural phenomenon that caused his dramatic rise and fall.

    Art & AIDS: Perceptions of Life. An exhibition of the humanity, spirit and love of artists living with HIV & AIDS which is comprised of work from GMHC’s (Gay Men’s Health Crisis) art therapy program participants.

    January 17 - March 16, 2014

    Queer Threads: Crafting Identity and Community. This exhibition explores notions of aspiration, socialization, and representation within the LGBTQ community through artists employing thread-based craft materials, techniques, and processes.

    March 28 - May 25, 2014

    Stroke. Artwork from gay male magazines 1940s to 1990s, explores the role these magazines played in an era with few opportunities for sexual expression.
