Former England Test and one-day all-rounder Derek Pringle is now the Daily Telegraph's cricket correspondent.
Derek Raymond Pringle was born in 1958 in Nairobi, Kenya, and is a former England and Essex cricketer.
Educated at Cambridge University he went on to play for Essex between 1978 and 1993, winning the county championship six times.
