Cancer-free Robin Quivers not yet back in studio
RECORD COLUMNIST
Best wishes and continued success go out to longtime "Howard Stern Show" radio partner Robin Quivers.
She revealed on the air earlier this week that she's been declared cancer-free.
Last year, she announced that she had cancer. She has been broadcasting from her home since May 2012, when she had a tumor removed from her bladder.
Quivers said this week that there were times when doctors thought she might die, but she rebounded and is now cancer-free.
It's unclear when she will return to the studio, but she is scheduled to appear at the Barnes & Noble at 33 E. 17th St., Manhattan at 7 p.m. Oct. 9 to promote her new book, "The Vegucation of Robin: How Real Food Saved My Life."
