No. 17 Pascack Valley (2-1) at No. 3 DePaul (2-1), 6 p.m.
Story line: Pascack Valley helped keep DePaul out of the playoffs last season by beating the Spartans, 33-28. Fresh off its upset of Don Bosco last week, the Spartans must avoid looking past the visiting Indians, especially since DePaul has a huge home game against Bergen Catholic on Oct. 11. Pascack Valley's defense needs to limit DePaul sophomore RB Kareem Walker (37 carries, 387 yards, four TDs) to have a shot.

Passaic Valley (2-1) at No. 18 Wayne Valley (2-1), 7 p.m.
Story line: Passaic Valley has lost seven straight to its rival, dating to 2007. To snap that streak, the Hornets must cause turnovers and put pressure on Wayne Valley senior QB Billy Crank, who has been protected well while completing 67 percent of his passes. Crank has thrown seven TD passes and hasn't been intercepted. Passaic Valley needs to keep Wayne Valley senior DL Justin Walker (23 tackles, four sacks) out of its backfield as well.
