The physicians take minimally invasive techniques up to a whole new level offering the patients less scarring, blood loss, and a faster recovery time.   They are Board Certified and have trained at top institutes across the country.

Orthopedic surgeons at Health East specialize in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of disorders of the musculoskeletal-joint system. The Pain Management Department diagnoses and treats multi-dimensional pain syndromes. They utilize a comprehensive program to help patients relieve pain. The program encompasses medication, behavioral concepts, and physical medicine and rehabilitation.

The PM&R and Pain Management physicians at Health East are Board Certified by both the American Board of Physical Rehabilitation and the American Board of Anesthesiologists.

The Reconstructive Plastic Surgery Department of Health East encompasses a broad spectrum of procedures performed on abnormal structures of the body caused by congenital defects, developmental abnormalities, trauma, infection, tumors or disease. Although the goal is primarily to improve function, procedures may also be done to aesthetically alter cosmetic appearance. All of our physicians are Board Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery.

The physicians in our Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) Department diagnose and treat injuries and diseases of the musculoskeletal system. Through therapeutic treatment programs, they address the medical needs, physical abilities, and functional restoration goals of each patient. Our physicians implement and develop specific treatment programs in conjunction with physical therapists, occupational therapists and our pain management professionals.

The Podiatric Medicine and Surgery Department diagnoses and treats disorders, diseases, and injuries of the lower leg and foot. Podiatrists treat ankle and foot injuries, deformities, infections, and foot complaints associated with diabetes and other diseases. To treat these problems, they utilize prescription medication, physical therapy, orthotics, and surgery. Our physicians are Board Certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery. They have trained at top institutes across the country.

Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery

The Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Health East encompasses the diagnosis and treatment of face, mouth, dentition, jaw, and neck diseases, injuries, and developmental genetic deformities. The department also handles functional, pathologic and cosmetic problems.
