The New Car, Used Car and  Wheelchair Lemon Laws provide a legal remedy for buyers or lessees of new and used cars that turn out to be lemons. If your car does not conform to the terms of the written warranty and the manufacturer or its authorized dealer is unable to repair the car after a reasonable number of attempts, you may be entitled to a full refund.

After reviewing the guide please complete the appropriate  Lemon Law Request For Arbitration form and send it to the Attorney General's Lemon Law Unit located at 120 Broadway, New York, NY 10271. Before submitting this form please complete all questions as accurately as possible, especially date and mileage questions. You should provide a brief but concise statement of the problem in the space provided on the form.
