One of Chicago's largest community areas, Austin is predominately an African-American community. Columbus Park in Austin was designed in the 1920s and featured a golf course. Destroyed during the construction of the Expressway, the park was restored in 1992, and is a great place for families and children. A PDF map of Austin is provided by the city.
