Sponsorship
While everybody who works on MetroSeeker.com does it as a volunteer, like every other website, we have expenses. We have to pay for server costs; we have to hire staff, and we have to pay for the software we need to make MetroSeeker a reality. We have no revenue. We have no obnoxious flashy advertisements. We have no investments. We do not take government funds.
To maintain our editorial independence and ensure we can continue to offer an ad-free experience, we quietly started offering sponsorship opportunities in November 2012. These opportunities include inline outbound links, business listings, and sponsorship of a full guide, or part of a guide, for publication. Sponsorship comes in many forms, not just monetary. If you want to see us stay online, get involved, and together let's see what we can do to change the way people think about cities.
Free Ways to Contribute
Guest Blogs
Our blog is maintained almost exclusively by guest bloggers. These bloggers dedicate their time, energy, and expertiese to developing quality blog posts for MetroSeeker.com. Our guest blogs all receive promotion across our social media sites, and back links to boost your Google rank. Got something to say about life in one of our cities? Submit a post! It will cost you nothing but time.
City Guide Content
Our guides take a minimum of 6 weeks of 40hrs a week of work to complete. We consult with local experts, and we tirelessly research and write every individual article.
If you would like to contribute articles for our city guides, you'll get writer credit, fodder for your resume, backlinks to your website, and promotion to our social networks.
