‘America’s Got Talent’ Results Recap: A Fan-Favorite Singer Gets The Boot

This week’s round of semi-final cuts left six acts headed to the next round and six acts going home. Did your favorite(s) get a spot in the top 12?

America’s Got Talent is turning up the heat in the competition in the first round of semi-finals. The road to the top 12 is a tough one as six acts were sent home after the Aug. 27 performances. Some of our favorites were saved by America’s vote and some made their last appearance on the Radio City Music Hall stage. The Voice winner Cassadee Pope also performed her hit single “Wasting All These Tears.”

Identity4Pop Was The Best Act At MLK ‘Let Freedom Ring’ Ceremony

The amazing young singing trio Identity4Pop performed the national anthem at the celebration of the 50th anniversary of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s ‘I Have A Dream’ speech, and they were the best act there! Kennedy, 12, and twins Shelbi and Sydney, both 11, were fantastic!

Identity4Pop, you girls had the best performance at the “Let Freedom Ring” ceremony! Your beautiful voices helped commemorate the historical day when Martin Luther King Jr. stood on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial and delivered his inimitable “I Have a Dream” speech. It took a ton of guts and courage to sing the “The Star-Spangled Banner” in the same spot where Dr. King gave his revered speech.
