I really enjoyed the first Kick-Ass and I thought this sequel was even better. In this one Kick-Ass has already been well established as a superhero and he returns to the scene and teams up with other like minded people. The other characters who were inspired to become vigilantes were all interesting and some very comical. Hit-Girl was also great in this film as she was in the first and it was interesting to see more depth to her character.
This film had a great combination of comedy and action throughout. There were a lot of funny moments and yet there was also a lot of serious action and some of it was quite gory.
Some people might be put off thinking that this would be geeky because of the comic book theme but anyone who enjoys actions films should give this a try. Also there is quite a lot of violence in this which might not be expected because it's a comedy but there is also a serious element in it.
