It is vital for countries to gain a better understanding of how best to design evidence-informed responses to the epidemic. UNAIDS Secretariat, together with its Cosponsors and partners, publishes a range of materials for policymakers, programme managers, advocates, media, researchers and community.

This page contains information to support countries on their national response.

Past Progress Reports

National AIDS Spending Assessment (NASA)

NASA describes the flow of resources spent in the HIV response from their origin to the beneficiary populations. It provides decision makers with strategic information that allow countries to mobilize resources, stronger accountability and more effective program implementation.  NASA is a tool within the national monitoring and evaluation framework
