Not that I dislike Odd Thomas. I really enjoy the writing style Koontz uses in the series (written as a kind of memoir of Odd).
But I never really got too involved with the characters. I think it had to do with the way the first book ended. I'm still a little bitter about that.
Overall, this one is certainly my second favorite of the series. It was weird not having Elvis around, but you can't win 'em all, right?
Oh, and just to jog my memory in the future, this is the one where Odd is on the coast trying to stop some nuclear mayhem from getting into the good 'ole U.S. of A.

I have, in order, read each of the Odd Thomas books! Each book is profoundly different from the last yet each have their own appeal. Koontz has made his most loveable, and enjoyable characters come to life. I do hope that they continue to make the Odd Thomas movies, and I hope that Koontz keeps rolling out more great books in this series. I recommend this series to anyone!

This is my second time reading this series. I recently had surgery and needed something to do. I loved this series the first time I read it and I'm falling in love with it again 😍
