Palm Bay Rockets Midget Team is going to the Pop Warner National Championship!! With a 22-0 win over the Scott Park Panthers, the Midget team qualified for the National Championship to be held December 1-8 at the ESPN Sports Complex in the Walt Disney World Resort. The Palm Bay Rockets are undefeated, with only 6 points being scored against them this entire season. Please help this team raise the necessary funds to compete at the National Level. It takes about $22,000 to send a team to competition and the money must be raised by 11/30/12. Please visit www.palmbayrockets.com to donate.

  6. Is it winning the Boston Marathon?

Hitting a walk-off home run in the World series?

Perhaps it’s kicking a 55-yard field goal to win a Super Bowl or seeing the checkered flag from behind the steering wheel in the Daytona 500.

Whatever the sport or the situation, we all have our sports fantasies. Columnist John A. Torres would like to know yours. Some responses will be featured in a future Torres column. Send your responses to jtorres@floridatoday.com
