NICE works with universities and Royal colleges to help future and current NHS staff understand what we do. The work covers a range of topics including:
- the context and values NICE consider when developing guidance
- providing the best healthcare possible in a resource limited NHS
- communicating how NICE develops guidance to a variety of audiences
- using every appropriate clinical encounter as an opportunity for health improvement
- the leadership and organisational skills required to put clinical and public health guidance into practice
