NICE implementation programme
The NICE implementation programme provides support to health and social care, to maximise uptake and use of evidence and guidance.
The implementation team at NICE work with colleagues to:
Support commissioning
- ensure accurate dissemination to the appropriate target audiences
- actively engage with the NHS, local government and the wider community
- work locally to encourage a supportive environment
Support for service improvement systems and audit
- identify cost and commissioning impacts for all guidance and standards
- provide practical support through a menu of tools for guidance, and the collation of shared learning examples
- measure the use of NICE guidance
Support for education and learning
- develop education and learning resources
- support networks of student champions and the NICE Fellows and Scholars schemes
