    • Join a NICE committee

    • NICE committees and working groups are made up of health and other professionals, patients, carers and members of the public, and technical experts.

    • Quality standards

    • NHS is developing and defining the standards of healthcare that people can expect to receive. These standards will indicate when a clinical treatment (or set of clinical procedures) is considered highly effective, cost effective and safe as well as being viewed as a positive experience by patients.

    • Quality and outcomes framework (QOF)

    • The quality and outcomes framework (QOF) is a voluntary incentive scheme for GP practices in the UK. NICE manages the process of developing clinical and health improvement indicators for the QOF.
