Kanye West turns in a deadpan performance in these Saturday Night Live teasers, and this weekend's musical guest seems unfazed by his upcoming gig.

Kanye West Brings Out New Material at Surprise New York Show

West bros out with Fred Armisen and host Ben Affleck, first coldly shutting down Armisen's attempt at freestyle rapping. Next, Armisen tries to rally "the boys" coming back together, but gets humbled by West and Affleck's uninspired responses. And in his last-ditch effort, Armisen gushes about "three award-winners just hanging out," but West and Affleck are quick to question his credentials. West keeps a straight face and his arms crossed throughout – maybe he was merely thinking about his new album, expected due out June 18th, or the upcoming birth of his first child with girlfriend Kim Kardashian.

Tomorrow's Saturday Night Live will be the 38th season's finale. It'll mark Bill Hader's last episode as a cast member after eight seasons, and Jason Sudeikis and Armisen are rumored to be leaving as well.
