This certification will be retired on July 31, 2013. You must meet all of the requirements for the MCITP: Enterprise Administrator on Windows Server 2008 certification prior to July 31, 2013, in order to earn it.

However, the MCSA: Windows Server 2008 certification will remain in market.

This certification will be retired on July 31, 2013. The MCSA: Windows Server 2008 certification and corresponding exams will remain in market.

These certifications will be retired on July 31, 2013. You must take and pass the required exams prior to July 31, 2013, in order to earn these certifications.

It depends on the technology. The MCSA and MCSE Windows 2000 Server certifications were retired on December 31, 2011. The MCSA and MCSE Windows Server 2003 exams and corresponding certifications will be retired on July 31, 2013.

Yes. The MCITP: Enterprise Administrator certification and the MCITP: Server Administrator certification will continue to be awarded until July 31, 2013. After July 31, 2013, these certifications will be retired, but the MCSA: Windows Server 2008 certification will remain in market.

If you are close to achieving an MCITP on Windows Server 2008, we encourage you to complete your certification, and then you can take advantage of a shorter path to upgrade your certification to the MCSE: Server Infrastructure certification or the MCSE: Desktop Infrastructure certification. By achieving multiple certifications, you show continued dedication to learning new skills and you increase your value to your organization.
