The sentences, paragraphs, and chapters are a lot longer than Parker composed. He actually has Spenser speaking in full ... (Goodreads) Very Good; Continuing character: Spenser; when the owner of Spenser's gym is threatened regarding selling his condo to make way for a casino, Spenser and 'Z' step in to try and sort out the mess (Goodreads) Wow. This was really a stellar effort. Spenser as we love him. Spenser at his best. Spenser even more cerebral than usual. Atkins has taken this franchise and actually improved it.
