Bell Helicopter offers a fixed hourly rate plan designed to guarantee your parts cost and eliminate unknowns from your budgeting process.
Bell's Drivetrain Coverage Plan provides original equipment manufactured (OEM) spares supply support for specific airframe drivetrain components at a fixed hourly rate. The program includes component overhauls, replacement of life-limited parts embodied in the covered component, parts to incorporate mandatory bulletins that affect the covered component, and replacement components in the event of an unscheduled removal. The plan also provides for those parts to be available prior to a scheduled overhaul, minimizing downtime required for scheduled maintenance. The plan does not include labor (for removal, replacement, troubleshooting, etc.), shipping, insurance, customs, taxes, consumables and/or hardware. Specific components covered vary from model to model, but the primary drivetrain components are typically covered.
The Rotor Blade Coverage Plan provides for unscheduled repairs for both the main and tail rotor blades, as well as scheduled retirement for the tail rotor blade only.
