Latest Recalls Announced by Manufacturers
- April 19: 204,169 Honda vehicles from 2012-2013, including Odysseys, Vehicles recalled for brake-shift interlock blocking mechanisms that may become slow in sub-freezing temperatures, allowing the gear selector to move from Park without pressing the brake and the vehicle to roll away.
- April 19: 19,258 Nissan Pathfinders and Infiniti JXs from 2013 , Vehicles recalled for an improperly cast front brake torque member, making it structurally weak and causing reduced braking power.
- April 18: 7,389 Toyota vehicles from 2008-2013, including Corollas and Tacomas, Recalled for inaccurate weight labels, which could lead to too much weight being placed in the vehicle and causing tire failure.
- April 16: Toyota vehicles from 2002-2004, including Corollas and Tundras, Recalled for passenger side frontal air bags that may produce excessive internal pressure and cause the inflator to rupture when deployed.
- April 15: 149 Mazda RX-8 and Mazda6 vehicles from 2003-2004, Recalled for passenger side frontal air bags that may produce excessive internal pressure and cause the inflator to rupture when deployed.
- April 15: 265,362 Nissan vehicles from 2001-2003, including Maximas and Pathfinders, Recalled for passenger side frontal air bags that may produce excessive internal pressure and cause the inflator to rupture when deployed.
- April 15: 561,422 Honda vehicles from 2001-2003, including Civics and Odysseys, Recalled for passenger side frontal air bags that may produce excessive internal pressure and cause the inflator to rupture when deployed.
- April 12: 6,143 Chrysler Dodge Ram 2500 and 3500 trucks from 2013, Recalled for the engine cover which may trap excessive heat, resulting in an under-hood fire.
- April 12: Chrysler Dodge Darts from 2013 recalled, Vehicles may have been built with incorrect rear brake calipers, resulting in an inoperable parking brake.
- April 12: 6,754 Chrysler Dodge Ram 1500 trucks from 2013, Recalled for incorrectly set parking brake cable equalizers, which may cause the vehicle to roll when parked.
