Sculpture - MFA

The graduate program in sculpture provides a place for students to develop their personal goals as artists within an environment of support, stimulation, and challenge.  Graduate students in sculpture are provided with large personal studios, well-equipped workshops, critiques with exceptional faculty and visiting artists, and the opportunity to contribute to the undergraduate program through teaching and other kinds of assistantships.

The goal of the program is to grant students the time and encouragement to develop their studio practice with an awareness of their historical moment within contemporary practice.  Another goal is to develop professional skills and awareness of networks in the art world that will prepare students for professional careers working with galleries and museums, as teachers in higher education, and as working artists.
