If you love the great outdoors and hiking is a passion or an interest, then you may want to join this group.

Since February 2011, Happy Hikers members have been hiking many interesting trails short and long, easy to challenging, for fitness, fun and enjoyment of the marvels of nature. A three-month calendar is sent out every quarter for your planning convenience, so that you may choose from the variety of planned hikes.  During the past year and half, we have hiked trails in and around Athens and the North Georgia area. Happy Hikers have also experienced two overnight hikes at Hike Inn in the Amicalola Falls State Park. If there is enough interest, we may plan to go out of Georgia to nearby states in the near future.

Our membership is presently at 190!  The enthusiasm is exciting.
