Please note that we currently do not train customers at the Hurst, TX location.

Class Hours: 8:00 am - 4:00 pm,
Monday through Friday (including first and last day of class) (Flight schedules may vary outside these hours.)

Dress Code: Casual clothing such as jeans are acceptable. Tank tops and sandals are not permitted during shop work or flight operations.

Lunch Break: One Hour. The Bell Helicopter Training Academy provides a complimentary lunch, coffee and tea for commercial customers. Government personnel may pay for their meals each day. Vending machines with soft drinks, candy and snacks are located in the break area. A microwave oven and refrigerator are available in this area as well. Numerous fast food and full service restaurants are in the local area.

Security Regulations: Photo identification is required of each person entering the school. All hand-carried items are subject to inspection by a security guard. The use of a metal detection device is enforced. A Training Academy picture identification badge is issued on the first day of class. This badge must be worn at all times while on Bell property. The Training Academy badge does not permit entry to any other plant or facility at Bell.

Training Materials: All supplies, training materials and tools required for training are furnished by the Training Academy. Training materials are provided to enrollee only and will be not issued prior to the first day of class.

Visitors: Please be advised that as we are a defense contractor installation, visits by family members (especially children) are restricted by Bell Helicopter Security Department. Prior authorization must be obtained for visits by family members.

Foreign Nationals: All Foreign Nationals must comply with US regulations. On the first day of class, Foreign Nationals must bring the following documents: VALID PASSPORT, and US Visa (if required for entry into U.S). Bell Canada (BHTC) employees must bring their BHTC badge for identification. Effective January 1, 2007, BHTC employees must have a VALID PASSPORT. Foreign Nationals have restricted access to Bell facilities and must wear the Training Academy Badge, issued on the first day of class, at all times while on Bell property. The Training Academy Badge will not permit entry to any other Bell facility. Bell has the right to decline the registration of Foreign Nationals at its own discretion.
