- CDC published its first Yellow Book, titled Immunization Information for International Travel, in 1967 as a small pamphlet with recommendations for the prevention of illnesses such as cholera, smallpox, yellow fever, and malaria.
- The Yellow Book first became available online (in addition to the hard copy) in 2002.
- It's grown! The 1967 edition was about the size of an index card and had 120 pages. The 2012 edition is just a bit smaller than the size of a regular sheet of paper and has 620 pages.
