We receive many requests every year for NICE representatives to speak at conferences, seminars and other events, both nationally and internationally.

If you would like to request a NICE speaker to present at your conference, please download and complete the form below and return it to speakers@nice.org.uk.

Meeting the National Quality Standard for Drug Use Disorders

Tuesday 5 February 2013, London

This conference chaired by Dr Emily Finch Chair Topic Expert Group, Drug Use Disorders Quality Standard National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence, and Clinical Director for Addiction South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust focuses on meeting the National Quality Standard for Drug Use Disorders.

The conference opens with a presentation from the Chair of the Quality Standard Expert Topic Group introducing the 16 quality statements within the standard.

Implementing Best Practice Patient Experience: Quality Standard and Beyond

Tuesday 26 February 2013, Manchester

Sophie Staniszewka Chair, Guideline Development Group, the NICE Quality Standard for Patient Experience will be presenting an update on patient experience with a focus on the new NICE quality standard including how it was developed and how progress will be monitored.
