2012 Main and Science Library Renovations
The Main Library and Science Library are currently in the final stages of renovation work, which began in May. The entry floors of both libraries will feature redesigned study spaces, new computers and furniture, and better-designed service desks.
The Main Library sub-basement has been renovated to accommodate the Map and Government Information Library, which is now open. The University of Georgia Press offices have relocated from Research Drive to the 3rd floor of the Main Library.
The Libraries continue to maintain our normal hours, but please expect some construction noise as well as the relocation of some service desks and collections.
