Union Metrics runs the service on its own, but is a member of Tumblr’s recently launched ‘A-List Partnership Program;’ a group of ad agencies, media agencies, creative agencies, tech providers and theme developers, which Tumblr says will “enable brands to have the best Tumblr experience possible.” In other words, the company has the exclusive ability to offer these Tumblr-endorsed services. As brands become increasingly important to Tumblr, a service which recently cracked the top ten sites in the U.S., utilities like analytics will help companies make sense of the blogging network for their own purposes. In turn, courteously hosting and supporting major brands on Tumblr is the startup’s ticket to future profitability through advertising. It’s a win-win situation for companies, but so far, users have yet to see similar benefits. Maybe you’ve fantasized of having a camera assistant to help you with self-portraits and videos, but the thought seemed a little silly considering your iPhone only weighs 4 ounces.
Ain’t no shame. You can use the Swivl to follow your every move as it shoots video or photos.
The base comes with a remote that you wear, so it’ll keep you in the frame even if you’re running circles around it!
The Swivl is Like Having a Tiny Camera Crew!

The new iTunes features a wide array of new features, including a fresh new design. These include a new iTunes Store that has been completely revamped. You can now play purchases directly from iCloud or download them to sync to your devices. Up Next lets you see which songs are coming up and allows you to re-order them. A new MiniPlayer shows you album art and features a crisp new design. An improved search mechanism lets you see results across your library. Today, Fantastical comes to the iPhone bearing that same spirit of no-nonsense calendar management, but with an additional intuitive layer of greatness. The app features the same natural language parsing engine as it does on the Mac, with the addition of a feature called the DayTicker. The DayTicker is at the heart of the reason Fantastical for iPhone has replaced Calendar for me. It’s a ribbon-shaped display of your current day and the surrounding days that makes it incredibly fast to see what you’ve got coming up at a glance. dbreunig:
If nothing else, you have to respect the boldness of Will.i.am’s C.4. Like a Kubrick film, a Jobs device, or the Homer the C.4 could only be created by a personality unhindered by any social, cultural, or financial restrictions. The conception and design of the C.4 took place in a vacuum created and encompassed by Will.i.am’s celebrity and proven financial return.
Because of this, the C.4 is a work of art, perfectly reflecting how one person perceives the world. And like many works of art, the C.4 has no practical purpose beyond this symbolic function.
