Prince George’s County police identify motorcyclist, pedestrian killed in collision

Prince George’s County police have released the identities of a motorcyclist and pedestrian who were killed in a collision Saturday afternoon near an open-air shopping center south of Iverson Mall.

Motorcyclist Jonathan Evans. 40, of Lorton, struck Harry Lee, 64, of Clinton, at about 3:45 p.m. Saturday in the Marlow Heights area where Branch Avenue meets with St. Barnabas Road, according to police.

The investigation is continuing, but Cpl. Larry Johnson, a police spokesman, previously said Lee was not in a crosswalk.
