On July 11, 1952 Gen. Dwight Eisenhower and Sen. Richard Nixon were nominated for President and Vice-President at the Republican National Convention in Chicago. They went on to beat Democratic ticket of Gov. Adlai Stevenson II and Sen. John Sparkman. View Post»
