MCAF News and Announcements
The Marine Corps Association Foundation was nominated for a grant from Chase Community Giving – and we are thrilled about that! We have already been guaranteed a shared portion of a $2.5 million grant, to be shared by hundreds of charities. You can help us get more funding from a second grant by just adding your vote on their Facebook page.
Do you want to own the original painting of the poster that was inserted into the May edition of Leatherneck?
SSgt Jason “Crash” Jensen, a medically retired Marine and wounded warrior received a new computer with graphic software installed courtesy of MCAF. Jensen is transitioning and acquiring training in graphic arts. When LeeAnn Mitchell, the MCAF Director of Development learned of Jensen’s needs she promptly provided help in his recuperation process by using funds to purchase the computer. SSgt Jensen plans on using the computer to create graphics for non-profits.
In support of today’s Marines and their professional development, MCA&F provided a unit library to Charlie Company, 1st Battalion, 5th Marines.
