Introduction

This online exhibit of Georgia folk pottery represents several of the state's major pottery centers, the utilitarian as well as more decorative traditions, a variety of forms and glazes, and a hundred-year time span, from the late nineteenth to late twentieth century. Each image rotates a full 360 degrees. All pieces are from the John A. Burrison Folklife Collection at the Atlanta History Center.
