Here's a rundown of the biggest stories in collegeland on Thursday:

- Which states have the most college graduates among the 25- to 34-year-old demographic? Check out the Chronicle of Higher Education's interactive map that details the state-by-state stats.

- You won't believe this: A student named Yale Fan picked his college, and it wasn't Yale. No, it was actually Yale's age-old arch rival, Harvard, the Crimson reports. Now that is a story.

- The Domino Effect is in full swing in college sports. University of Colorado has reportedly accepted an invitation to join the Pac-10 Conference, and University of Nebraska is expected to join the Big Ten soon. All eyes will be on the Big 12 Conference's remaining members over the next few days.

- College football power University of Southern California will get a two-year bowl ban and lose more than 20 scholarships as the result of an NCAA investigation into rules violations, the Los Angeles Times reports.
