ICT stands for ‘Information and Communication Technology’. This is the term used for the processing, transmission and storage of information and data using modern day technology.

ICT is one of the most rapidly developing areas in education and the business world. At AGGS students are taught to embrace this from the beginning of Year 7, not only in discreet ICT lessons but across the whole curriculum forming an integral part of a student’s educational experience.

It is also the aim of the department that all girls will leave AGGS with a recognised ICT qualification as this will prepare them for the world of work where IT skills are in high demand.
