Since 2003, Arizona List has proven that when we find good women candidates, prepare them for a serious campaign, fund them through our PAC and provide astute political support – they win. We have helped elect 55 women to city councils, state board of supervisors, school boards, state legislators and mayors all across the state. These women are impressive fighters for progressive values in our challenging state environment.
Research shows that women often do not run for office unless they are asked. Arizona List asks. Our team of political advisors is effective and strategic. We choose our battles wisely. We are geared up every year to elect good candidates across Arizona at all levels of office because we need strong advocates for women’s health, for families and children, for quality education, for a protected environment and a strong economy.

Nearly 150 people joined us for an evening that honored AZ Corporation Commissioner Sandra Kennedy with the first annual Breaking Barriers award. Our keynote speaker, Bridget Pettis, drew on her experience as a WNBA player and coach to inspire us all to “work as one, in spite of our differences” to make Arizona a better place for our children. Artists and businesses from across Phoenix donated remarkable items for the silent auction. The event raised nearly $10,000 to support the work of Arizona List. Many, many thanks to each artist, business, volunteer and participant — and special thanks to greenHAUS co-owners Cole and Dayna Reed. We can’t wait for next year!
