At Comic-Con International in San Diego on Thursday visionary director Tim Burton, along with producers Don Hahn and Allison Abbate, appeared in Hall H to present their upcoming 3D black-and-white stop motion-animated film Frankenweenie to a packed crowd of fans. 

On behalf of iamROGUE.com and Moviefanatic.com, IAR's Managing Editor Jami Philbrick had a chance to catch up with producer Don Hahn before the panel to discuss Frankenweenie as well as his other upcoming project Maleficent with Angelina Jolie, which is based on Sleeping Beauty. The Oscar-nominated producer discussed Frankenweenie, Tim Burton's vision for the film, the short it was based on, reuniting the "Tim Burton Players," Maleficent, and which Disney animated film might be getting a live-action adaptation next.

Writer/director Michael J. Bassett (Solomon Kane) appeared in Hall H at Comic-Con International 2012 in San Diego on Saturday, along with actress Adelaide Clemens to discuss their new film Silent Hill: Revelation 3D, which is scheduled for release on October 26th.

Bassett and actress Adelaide Clemens to talk about Silent Hill: Revelation 3D. The actor and director discussed the upcoming movie, how it fits into the film and game series, Clemon's preparation for her role, playing the video game, Bassett's belief that his film will be the first to successfully adapt a video game, and the movie's practical effects. 

Iconic rapper-turned-writer/director RZA (Wu-Tang Clan) made a surprise appearance at Comic-Con International 2012 in San Diego on Thursday to help promote his upcoming feature film directorial debut entitled The Man with the Iron Fists, which is scheduled for release on November 2nd. RZA co-wrote the screenplay with accomplished director Eli Roth (Hostel), and the film features an impressive cast of actors that includes Oscar-winner Russell Crowe (Gladiator), Lucy Liu (Kill Bill: Vol. 1), Jamie Chung (Sucker Punch), Pam Grier (Jackie Brown), and wrestler-turned-actor David Bautista.

The two men talked about their new film, RZA's directorial debut, how Bautista thinks he did, what RZA learned about directing from his mentors Jim Jarmusch, John Woo, and Quentin Tarantino, his all-time favorite martial arts films, working with Russell Crowe, and the music for the film, which will feature a new song by Kanye West. 

Writer/director David Ayer (Harsh Times, Street Kings) appeared in Hall H at Comic-Con International 2012 in San Diego on Saturday, along with actors Jake Gyllenhall and Michel Pena to discuss their new film End of Watch, which is scheduled for release on September 28th.

Director Neill Blomkamp (District 9) has the most intriguing of concepts centering his next film. His Elysium stars, Matt Damon and Jodie Foster, landed at Comic-Con and told Movie Fanatic and iamROGUE.com as much about it as they could. You see, the film about a futuristic world where the rich all live on a luxury space station while the poor and middle class fight over the scraps that is otherwise known as modern life on Earth, is surrounded by secrecy.

Series creator Kurt Sutter and the cast of Sons of Anarchy appeared in Hall H at Comic-Con International 2012 in San Diego on Sunday to discuss their hit FX show with the packed crowd of fans. In addition to Sutter, the panel included actors Charlie Hunam, Katey Segal, Ron Perlman, Maggie Siff, Kim Coates, Mark Boone Junior, Tommy Flanagan, Theo Rossi, Ryan Hurst, and Dayton Callie. 

IAR's Managing Editor Jami Philbrick had a chance to catch up and chat with actors Kim Coates, Theo Rossi, and Tommy Flanagan on the red carpet of the Maxim/FX-ON-DVD party on Saturday night before their panel presentation on Sunday. The three actors talked about the upcoming fifth season, the changes coming to SAMCRO, Sutter's overall plan for the series, the possibility of a SOA movie, and that fans can expect "a lot of ass" on the new season of the show. 

Director Sharlto Copley (District 9) appeared in Hall H at Comic-Con International 2012 in San Diego on Friday to discuss his upcoming sci-fi film Elysium with the packed crowd of fans. In addition to Copley, the panel included Oscar-winning actors Matt Damon and Jodie Foster, as well as director Neill Blomkamp, and producer Simon Kinberg.

On behalf of iamROGUE.com and Moviefanatic.com, MF's Managing Editor Joel Amos had a chance to sit down and chat with actor Sharlto Copley about Elysium before the panel. In addition to discussing Elysium, the actor also talked about a few of his upcoming projects including Maleficent with Angelina Jolie, Oldboy directed by Spike Lee, and the chances of a possible sequel to the fan-favorite film The A-Team. 

Sam Raimi has paired quite a pair of actresses in Mila Kunis and Michelle Williams as showcased in the Oz the Great and Powerful trailer. The two stars of the recent Oscar- nominated Black Swan and My Week with Marilyn, respectively, are immediately ready to extol all the praise on their director.
