"I can't stress this enough..They need to join up with the GTA and make a proper transit system, most 'first world' cities in the world have subway/bus service under one system much MUCH MUCH further than what the TTC does. They need some federal funding and learn that they are dealing with fire here. The people of Toronto/GTA are living further and further out of the core and need ways to get around, they can't keep switching into different city transits and dropping another $3 to go 10 kms. BUT knowing the politicians here, they'll start something and then change their mind, then debate, then pick the wrong option, then start again, complete in 20 years, and realize it's out dated and the cycle begins again.
