The International Agency for Research on Cancer is proud to support the World Hepatitis Day, July 28, 2012!
World Hepatitis Day is an annual event that each year provides international focus for patient groups and people living with hepatitis B and C. It is an opportunity around which interested groups can raise awareness and influence real change in disease prevention and access to testing and treatment.

IARC Scientific Publication No 163 - Molecular Epidemiology: Principles and Practices
01/04/2012 Molecular Epidemiology, as a new concept, came under the limelight with the publication of "Molecular Epidemiology: Principles and Practice" by Schulte and Perera in 1993, which established a framework to integrate the rapid advances being made in the development of a wide range of biomarkers with the established methodology of classic epidemiological study design and analysis to increase our understanding of the mechanisms of disease in populations.
