Hong Kong scrambles to collect spilled 'toxic' pellets

Millions of tiny translucent pellets used in plastics manufacturing have washed ashore on the beaches of Hong Kong.
It is thought that shipping containers carrying the plastic cargo were knocked into the sea when Typhoon Vicente hit the area on 23 July.
The plastic balls are not toxic on their own, but could absorb toxins that would be lethal to any species that might be tempted to eat them.
