More injuries for UFC Calgary card: Patrick out
Add Canadian welterweight Claude (The Prince) Patrick to the long list of fighters forced to withdraw from UFC 149 in Calgary due to injury. 2010, former UFC champion Frank Mir was forced to issue an apology after saying he wanted to break Brock Lesnar's neck and make him "the first person that dies due to Octagon-related injuries." Injuries continue to take a toll on UFC 149. The latest fighter forced to pull out of the July 21 card at Calgary's Scotiabank Saddledome is welterweight striker Siyar Bahadurzada. UFC 148: Silva vs. Sonnen II
Number one contender Chael Sonnen will have another chance to take the UFC middleweight title away from champion Anderson Silva, in the main event at UFC 148 on July 7. The MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada will be the site of the card, which also features Rich Franklin, Forrest Griffin, Tito Ortiz, and Canadian Ivan Menjivar.

UFC 149: Faber vs. Barao
The UFC makes its Alberta debut when the octagon arrives in Calgary on July 21. The main event will feature an interim-batamweight title fight between Urijah Faber and Renan Barao.
