Legislative and Grassroots Advocacy:
Each year, Arizonans face an unprecedented number of legislative bills aimed at reducing reproductive health care access and freedom. The efforts of PPAA ensure that all Arizonans and their families have a voice to those rights. PPAA is at the state capitol working to advance public policies that support reproductive health rights and freedom and to defeat restrictive anti-choice and anti-reproductive health care legislation.
Our grassroots efforts are focused on helping all Arizonans gain fair and equal access to sexual and reproductive health rights, education and medical services. PPAA educates and engages our grassroots network of activist as well as voters across the state on a variety of issues related to health and reproductive rights.

Electoral Engagement
We support government officials and candidates who share our belief that access to sexual and reproductive health care and information is critical to the well-being of all citizens, and supports sexual and reproductive health care access and rights for all. PPAA works within the electoral process to support candidates and educate voters about pro-choice issues and candidates.
PPAA engages in the following electoral activities:
• Survey candidates and publicize their views • Endorse, campaign for and support pro-choice candidates • Educate voters and public officials • Contribute to candidates through our Political Action Committee (PAC) • Host and co-sponsor events, from elegant affairs to informal meet-and-greets, that bring together national and state leaders, local officials and concerned citizens
