WHERE IS ROSIE THE RIVETER? |
To celebrate unions and promote union pride, the AFL-CIO's Union Plus program is urging workers to take Rosie the Riveter on vacation with them.
Union Plus, which provides discount programs to union members, offers four versions of a Rosie cutout that can be downloaded from its website. "Take a picture with Rosie on vacation (or on your staycation!) and upload the image to our Where’s Rosie the Riveter map," Union Plus said. "Watch the map fill as more and more union members add their vacation shots."
The four versions of Rosie feature her in front of a classic car, a house, carrying a bunch of roses and brandishing a cellphone.
